homebuilding systems that would take advantage of the collaboration opportunities offered
by delivering the software as a service over the Web. Our product set is a fully
integrated construction management system, which brings together all the tasks, processes
and work flow of a successful homebuilding operation and incorporates standard and
customizable reports. We presently offer our product over the Web as either a
comprehensive Enterprise System or as one of two stand-alone products (BTSales & BTService)
that serve as entry points to the total solution.

Current Opportunities
Software Developer
BuildTopia is seeking Java developers who will be part
of a team responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications. Experience
with network and system administration is a plus. This position reports to the Director
of Product Development and has a competitive base salary based on experience.
We are seeking candidates with at least 2 years experience and can demonstrate their
understanding and skills with several of the following: (Experience with all of these is
not required)
- Java (J2SE), JSP, Servlets
- SQL, Oracle 9i/10g, TOAD
- HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Redhat Linux, Apache Tomcat, CVS, Ant
- Eclipse IDE and SPRING framework

Sales and Marketing Coordinator
BuildTopia is seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator who assists in the coordination of the
creation and execution of all elements of the marketing plan, collaboration with third
party SEO and marketing firms, execution of marketing campaigns, project management of
marketing events, maintenance of sales collateral, and documentation and management of
processes as they relate to the sales and marketing team. Base salary range is based on
experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with team in drafting and maintaining annual marketing plan and budget
- Work with SEO firm and internally for continual SEO and PPC improvement
- Act as Project Manager for all tradeshows and marketing events
- Manage execution of marketing campaigns
- Prepare sales and marketing reports measuring ongoing performance
- Collaborate with team to define, document and improve sales related business processes
- Management of the new sales process
- Maintenance and organization of all sales collateral
- Process customer subscription changes
- Work with team in completing Requests for Proposals
- Work with sales team in preparing sales presentations
- Process monthly sales performance reports
We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of experience:
- In either marketing, event planning, or project management
- Managing account information with a customer CRM tool
- Providing inside sales administration support to a geographically-dispersed sales team

Regional Sales Manager
BuildTopia is seeking a Regional Sales Manager who is responsible for promoting and
selling company products through direct customer contacts within assigned
geographic territory. This includes product subscriptions and related professional
services. Manage and grow existing customer accounts. Collaborate with a multi-member
sales team to manage territory, as well as complete sales cycle and account management
activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop new business within assigned geographic region(s)
- Maintain and upsell business with existing accounts
- Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual assessments of sales productivity
- Assist in developing plans to ensure revenue growth across all company products
- Enter and maintain accurate data within an existing CRM database, tracking and reporting sales activities
- Gather information on market trends, competitive products, and pricing
We are seeking candidates with:
- 5+ years of experience consistently meeting and exceeding goals in software sales
- 5+ years experience in the homebuilding industry
- Bachelor’s degree, equivalent work experience, or a combination of education and experience
You are able to demonstrate excellent written communication skills in addition to graphic
design capabilities and intermediate MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio skills.
Consultative sales skills and calculation, such as discounts, commissions and percentages.
