BuildTopia has established a comprehensive construction management software solution for
homebuilders that is delivered on the Web as a “Software as a Service” (SAAS). We were
founded by a committed group of homebuilders who saw a need for a new generation of
homebuilding systems that would take advantage of the collaboration opportunities offered
by delivering the software as a service over the Web. Our product set is a fully
integrated construction management system, which brings together all the tasks, processes
and work flow of a successful homebuilding operation and incorporates standard and
customizable reports. We presently offer our product over the Web as either a
comprehensive Enterprise System or as one of two stand-alone products (BTSales & BTService)
that serve as entry points to the total solution.

Current Opportunities
Software Developer
BuildTopia is seeking Java developers who will be part
of a team responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications. Experience
with network and system administration is a plus. This position reports to the Director
of Product Development and has a competitive base salary based on experience.
We are seeking candidates with at least 2 years experience and can demonstrate their
understanding and skills with several of the following: (Experience with all of these is
not required)
- Java (J2SE), JSP, Servlets
- SQL, Oracle 9i/10g, TOAD
- HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Redhat Linux, Apache Tomcat, CVS, Ant
- Eclipse IDE and SPRING framework
In addition, you can speak to your standards of customer service, professionalism, dependability, and flexibility, as well as your abilities to problem-solve, plan and organize, and show initiative.
